We shopped the whole day!! Non-stop!! I bought 2 more handbags from hush puppy, some tops and 1 pair of shorts. I wonder how im going to use so many handbags. My bro was complaining that I buy so many handbags. Oh well, its none of his business! He’s not the one paying! And its worth it ok! My sis is still admiring her timberland sling bag. It costs about S$30, supposedly very very cheap. She was saying that in Singapore even a normal sling bag will cost about that much let alone timberland brand. I cant be bothered la, I’m not interested in sling bags anyway. I prefer handbags!

We went to the bay this morning and saw sea lions again but this time they were swimming. We were in the mountains most of the time and stopped by the beach. I went down with a pack of chips and then the squirrels came to me!! One of them even jumped onto me! It also scratched my hand and touched my half eaten chip and so I fed the chip to that squirrel. It ate right before me! It was so adorable! My mum took a lot of photos of me with the squirrels so I will upload them.

We thought that we had to camp out in the mountains but fortunately we made it to the town in time! And along the way we saw a fantastic view of the sun setting!

We finally reached los angeles yesterday! We went to another factory outlet yesterday morning and I bought 2 pants at bass there. In the evening we visited santa monica college. My dad insisted that we go there so that he can prove to me that it is a much lower class college compared to Stanford. Yeah it was, duh! But I didn’t expect the people there to be like how should I put it? Erm rojak? Even the guys there weren’t as cute as stanfords! And the campus itself wasn’t that great. Maybe it was a right choice to stay and do junior college here in Singapore.

We just dropped my mum off at the airport. She is flying to st louis and will be back on fri night. I lent her my ultra warm liz Claiborne branded gloves coz its pretty warm here and its freezing there in st louis so I dun need it. Im such a good daughter right?

Earlier in the morning I bought a very expensive spagattei strap blouse. At least it looks expensive and formal so I can wear with pants to dinners, I dun have to hunt for a dress. I also bought a blouse which is sports wear. it is very nice but would I wear it? I hardly exercise!

Oh and I bought 2 pairs of high heels!! 2 pairs!! One is purple the other is blue. I will be wearing them to shows in las vegas!

We are currently on the way to Hollywood! My dad was saying if you want to visit any famous actors or actresses you can just go and knock on their door! Will we get the chance to get any autographs??

I didn’t make it into hwa chong. I was posted to national. Oh man there goes my scholarship! Im so disappointed.

Yesterday we went to Hollywood late in the morning. We went to every show, tour and ride, except for the tribute. The jurrasic park and the mummy was so so scary! The jurrasic park had a 84-foot-drop! That’s like ten storeys high? And we didn’t even know it was a roller coaster! We just happily sat on it thinking it was an educational ride! And the drop was in total darkness! It was already so scary let alone not knowing what lies ahead! I thought the wild wild west I did in gold coast, the 15m drop, was already an achievement! And I conquered the almost 26m 90 degrees vertical plunge into darkness! Yeah it was totally dark! Oh gosh, how did I ever survive??!

And the mummy was worse! My bro told me that it was a 3D ride but it turned out to be a roller coaster again! We came to a stop a few feet from the entrance and then the nightmare started! We sped up to more than 100km per hr into total darkness and suddenly. We swerved left, right, up, down. It seemed like eternity. And then the worst part came. We stop. And then the whole thing went backwards! At the same speed! Before it moved backwards I was telling myself oh shucks I think if we are going backwards at this speed im dead. It seemed like eternity again. And then it stopped and turned. Then I thinking if it is going for another ride I seriously dunno what is gg to happen to me. But the door opened. I heaved a huge sigh of relief. Throughout the whole ride my eyes were kept shut. My hands clutched the bars until blood stopped flowing. My legs were squeezed tightly (so was my bladder). My teeth were clenched tight (although this phrase is used for anger I think it fits more when you are so afraid). If you did see the photo they took you could see I was near to tears. I will never never willingly sit that again! I had enough of roller coasters!

And after those 2 worst rides in the world, Disneyland is nothing! If you are such a chicken at heart like me, go sit those 2 rides at Hollywood and then any other rides you sit is peanuts! Oh I forgot to mention we went to Disneyland today! It was very pretty! But the highlight was the fireworks! That was spectacular! If you did think singapore’s fireworks were nice then all I can say is that you are blind! I can tell you Singapore fireworks sucks! Even the national day parade one is not even 1% as good as Disneyland’s! you just go wow and wow and wow at disneyland! It was the best fireworks display I saw and most probably will remain the best!

As for the rides, they were mostly kiddies lah or maybe coz I survived hollywood’s already. The queue time was so so long! There was one that we queued for almost 1 and a half hrs! I am so fed up! But the fireworks and “snow” compensated for everything!

And there were so many babies there! On the way out there was human traffic jam and then the prams keep ramming into us! Why in the first place did u have to bring babies there? Are you that stupid to think that a 2 or 3 years old child can remember anything from that trip?! It is so dumb ok! Kids dun remember anything! I have a fantastic memory but all I can recall is less than 1% of what I felt and what I saw before I turned 10! Whats the point of wasting time, energy and money? I wun be as stupid as these parents to bring my kids there until they pass 15 years of age. Only then whatever they see will forever remain etched in their memory! Those parents are so stupid! So stupid! I so wanted to yell that in their face! My dad was saying every parent hopes that their child would be smarter than that. But instead of saying that kids are dumb I rather say that the parents are dreaming! Fat hope!

I miss the food at home! The nasi lemak, carrot cake, laksa, chicken rice, mee siam….the food here is so salty and so yucky! I was telling my bro I came here so slim and when I go back I will be so fat! No wonder America has so many diabetes, obese, high blood pressure patients! I wun be the least bit surprised!

We went to visit University of Southern California and Caltech yesterday and UC San Diego today. Caltech is supposedly #2 in science and engineering. I also realized that it is the #1 stinky school! The place smelt like sewage! Gross! The people were so nerdy and aloof. Anyway it is impossible for me to get in so it doesn’t matter. I felt that UCSD is better than USC. UCSD was surprisingly impressive! They’re medical and science is well known but as for the other areas they are not top top.
