the reason why i record 1 whole hour of "so you think you can dance" on my dvd recorder only to fast forward and watch just 5 min of it is coz i dont wanna miss a dance like this

i cancelled lunch date with jan and jas coz my grade 11 student and sec 3 student wanted sat sessions.
and my grade 11 student called to cancel. then my sec 3 student's mum called to cancel. ARGH.
i wasted the whole of yesterday rolling and screaming about in pain. i hate the weakness that hits me after me throw up. my limbs go cold and i feel like some kind of corpse >.<

okay i somehow think i do a lot better for morning papers than afternoon papers. good thing my coursework for marketing and stats is good coz i think i screwed up my finals. argh.
anyways im just really glad its all over and done with! next sem's gonna be tougher with 5 papers in 2 weeks. this time was 4 in 3 weeks.

i feel like i didnt do well for marketing.
stupid gender biased paper.
can't they ask something on like beauty products or apparels??
argh.
cashmere mafia is making me miss going to work every morning. my same routine every morning. step into pwc building, take a copy of the newspaper, take the lift up to 18th floor, tap my card, walk to my desk, switch on my table light and my laptop, go to the pantry to fill up my mug with water and get a cup of milo, come back and start generating computations before everyone comes in to clog up the server. it beats waking up in hall and going for lectures and tutorials. and i miss the people there =(

i just found out during tuition that O level bio students are learning taxonomy, advanced cell membrane (phosopholipid bilayer) and cell division. gee i was struggling with meiosis and mitosis in jc and they are learning it in sec 4?? gosh. poor lil things...
went to sicc for dinner last night. then swensons for ice cream! =) and after that to my grandma's newly renovated house.
in the car my mum was saying that if you want to find me at home, theres only a few places i'll be.

okay i hope i got my matric number right. if i wrote the wrong matric number...im so damn screwed.
NOT ENOUGH TIME!
argh. i spent too much time on the first question which was question 3. i looked at question 1 and i was like uh okay what the hell does the question want!?? so i did 3, 2 then 1. and the teacher. gosh shes really annoying. the whole 2 hours she was talking non-stop. i wanted to go SHHH CAN YOU PLEASE SHUT UP! grr.
okay back to my point. i spent almost 1 whole hour on question 3 doing i dont know what. i was like i should move on i should move on but my hand...it couldnt stop writing. DISCIPLINE. sigh.
anyways pai seh for the "slam" at 10:58am. haha i didnt mean too. its just that i was left with 2 min and trying to complete question 1 and flipping through my stuff. it didnt help that my file was so freaking thick, it just slipped from my fingers.
i thought combined science meant like half of each pure subject. but no its like the whole syllabus. how am i supposed to teach all 4 subjects, 1 whole year worth of stuff in 1.5 months? gee i might have to outsource...
and i had a nightmare last night. someone was trying to kill me =(
i cant forgive you for the things you said because every word hurts and i dont think you understand the gravity of it all. it has happened way too many times. i've let it pass not once, not twice, not thrice but so many more times. the words honestly, spare me the rhetoric..stop thinking in grandiose are still ringing in my head. am i supposed to keep smiling and tell myself to let it pass? you know it's alright if you dont believe in me but don't make me doubt myself. i can't let you go on ruining my life. that's not what friends are for. friends help you get back on your feet when you fall but you, you keep stand in my way, you trip me over and you watch me fall.

my bio student says this time she feels a lot more prepared for her bio test! =)
today was on statistics. again i was supposed to do revision with her but well i had to make sure i cover the grounds first. i would add another lesson so thatshe i will feel more secure but i have my own ob exam on wed and i already added 2 extra lessons for her so thats really the max i can do. hope she does well. at least a lot better than before i started to teach her heh.
this morning i had to glue my butt to the chair to read the chapter on leadership. yes i had no clue what the path goal theory etc was on and i was too lazy to think. but no choice. had to sit down and read it. and after that i felt accomplished! haha
i like my papers spaced out, yes. but it gets really boring when its 6 days of ob. and the final exam is only 40%. i need a miracle to get an A for ob. 60% A- already even if i get A+ for the other 40% i dont think i can get an A =(

i remember i kinda hated cell membranes and cell division but it was surprisingly fun today haha. it was supposed to be a revision session but i just found out that membranes, transport and division are tested and she was involved in some exhibition thing when those topics were taught in school. so she basically knows nuts about those topics. good thing my memory didnt fail me coz i didnt do any revision beforehand. im starting to remember why i used to love bio haha
ob exam in 2.5 days and im not fretting..it seems abnormal! HELP! i need to feel the adrenaline rush!

man i hate those timings. hate being sleep deprived.
so yes thats where im going in dec. shanghai again. to visit my sis. while my bro gets to go with my parents to HONG KONG while i have to sit for my marketing paper. argh. if not coz my sis is in china we would be going to australia! its been 6 years since i last went to australia? and australia currency depreciated so much. i want my gummy bears and jelly beans!
new student this afternoon. when his mum opened the door she was like ms huang you are so young! okay you know this is where i really wish i were older. coz parents always think young = inexperienced = cannot teach. but that is so not true.
she said she speaks to him in chinese and her husband speaks to him in mandarin so his languages very good. she proudly showed me his result slip. 59 for english 61 for chinese. i was like erm..haha. then i looked down and saw..maths f9, combined science (phy/chem) f9, bio f9. and its not just nice f9. its 30+ each! gee. so when i told her as long as he works hard and do my homework, As and Bs not difficult to get, her jaws dropped. come on you think you hired me for your son to get Cs? i added the Bs behind coz im not sure he can get As. his learning pace quite slow. and hes not sharp enough.
oh and on my way down, i stepped into this lift which had a pool of blood. i was like okay i didnt see anything. i dont know anything. im not thinking of anything. but should i call the police or something just in case?
anyways went for bio tuition after that. she seems to be improving! =) today she asked me how to study for bio and specifically how to make notes. haha
and its coca cola x 2 today haha.
but im really annoyed with sbs. peak hour means buses should come more frequently yes? but i waited 25 min each for 2 buses. my dad was telling me they say their transport system very good coz they depart on time. like HELLO THAT IS EXPECTED? in japan, they reach each station and each bus stop on time. not just depart on time. geez. it is like when i reach school late and i get a demerit point i say you cant give me a demerit point coz i left home on time. i got here late but yes i left home on time didnt i?
okay im a little cranky. maybe it is coz i woke up at 6:30am. dont ask me why i woke up before sunrise.

my sec 2 boy's mum asked me if i knew about correlation, t test, z test etc. i was like uh kinda. then she said good, i need tuition. are you free this weekend?
it was like the time she said son ah can i hijack your teacher for a while?
hahaha.
and i cant believe the things that were said is real. tell me that was just a nightmare. it has got to be my worst nightmare ever.
leave my life forever.
from this very instant.
i dont want to have anything to do with you anymore for the rest of my life.
okay breathe. this isnt going to affect me. exams are round the corner. i cant afford to be distracted. focus. focus. focus.

so today was the last presentation for the year! =)
good thing jonathan's torch idea went well. andrew says i worry too much hahaha =P come to think of it, we met face to face only 3 times and a total of 2 hours only. pretty efficient! and i have the 2 guys that the tutor likes in my team. lucky girl huh? haha.
after our presentation then i realised that q&a not graded. i spend a hell lot of time calculating those values la. mel was like pogvmawoprawmrpompr wt xiao qi toking about ar? hahaha.
more than 3 months in hall and i still havent mastered the art of sleeping in hall. bleh. my dad says he pays for 5 months, i stay 3 months. he pays for 7 days a week, i stay 3 days only. costs a bomb! haha yeah it averages out to almost 20 bucks a day. but still not enough for cab fare to and fro heh.
and tomorrow will mark the end of the semester and exactly 5 months to the big-two-oh >.<
i want that moment to become every second of my life.

since when did my number become a hotline for distressed parents?
apparently my sec 2 boy's mum has been recommending me to loads of parents. i really appreciate it when she goes around telling others how i helped her son to improve so much in such a short period of time.
then comes my flaw - i have a problem with saying no.
taking new students during my own exam period?
gee i spent the whole of last night completing the o level phy tys.
but how can i say no when a parent tried calling me for days and when i finally pick up she goes ms huang my son got 30 for maths can you please help? i heard from XXX that her son's math improved a lot! my son will be sec 4 next year and im very worried!
call me soft hearted or maybe a tad foolish. but how can i turn down a request like that?
on a side note..it feels great to be in demand haha. and the thing is i discovered that with experience and maturity...you dont really have to read the questions to know what is required. i barely read any of the tys questions before answering. and that explains the speed. but dont worry, accuracy is there too ;)
oh and stats this morning. we major changed all the values in our report. but its still wrong. bleh.
i sure hope he's right.

well dear you didnt miss much coz our ballet teacher didnt come =( it was that cheena guy again. and his centre work was really complicated. we did pirouette starting with the right. and that set of exercise had BOTH en dedans and en dehors and in BOTH directions. OMG. i bet you can imagine the horror of it. and we did left side too!
he scolded us for not wanting to take up the challenge. and in the end when i could do it he was like see you can do but dont dare to try! SAYS WHO! i dont know how to do your complicated set of pirouette its just that along the way i figure stuff out. i dont know the transitions between right and left but i know the direction so need time to get the position right. oh wells at least i got it and not many did haha =)
but after that he made us do 8 turns in 8 counts and 2 sets of that continously. that one left me very dizzy and nauseous. i was like sprawling all over the piano after that. the fluid in my head was swirling. even till now im still suffering from the after effects =(
and this pro woman came for class today. in bright PINK pointe shoes. i wanted to tell her uh..you know we havent quite mastered turning on demi pointe. and she snagged all the attention! we were on single and she was on DOUBLE! damn. i really just dai dai watch her turn. shes really good. and shes in her late 40s but her bar work, extensions, turns etc all so pro! i think when she was young she probably went up to RAD advanced. no shit.
so yes thats about it. i'll cya next year then! and btw the wed that just passed was our 1.5 year anniversary =)

SAYS WHO! i dont know how to do your complicated set of pirouette its just that along the way i figure stuff out. i dont know the transitions between right and left but i know the direction so need time to get the position right. oh wells at least i got it and not many did haha =)
but after that he made us do 8 turns in 8 counts and 2 sets of that continously. that one left me very dizzy and nauseous. i was like sprawling all over the piano after that. the fluid in my head was swirling. even till now im still suffering from the after effects =(
and this pro woman came for class today. in bright PINK pointe shoes. i wanted to tell her uh..you know we havent quite mastered turning on demi pointe. and she snagged all the attention! we were on single and she was on DOUBLE! damn. i really just dai dai watch her turn. shes really good. and shes in her late 40s but her bar work, extensions, turns etc all so pro! i think when she was young she probably went up to RAD advanced. no shit.
so yes thats about it. i'll cya next year then! and btw the wed that just passed was our 1.5 year anniversary =)

wanted to book final theory in first week of dec. last i checked nov dates werent even open for booking. and today when i went in suddenly the earliest date is mid dec. OMG. 15th dec 4:30pm. means by the time i book my prac test (assuming i pass my final theory) it would be sometime in march already. this sucks.
right smack in the middle of dec.

i was in a rather good mood before i came online coz i finally completed my stats tutorial 12 and it wasnt that tough.
hmph. i feel like strangling myself now.
