it just ended and now its back due to stress at work. but luckily theres no cramps. if thats of any comfort at all.
its just insane la. not even peak and im working 11.5hrs straight with only toilet breaks. didnt even step out for lunch =( and im no where near completion. i was asking li wen is this peak? pls tell me it is peak..then she laughed. she said my work will never end so i must know when to stop hahaha.
im supposed to get manager's approval for working 3 or more hrs OT but uh didnt even have time to go ask soi noi. oops =X
but cny is round the corner and cny eve we end at 1230! =)) only a few more days yay! i shall sleep through the long weekend and hide myself somewhere and pretend i never existed before the peak really starts wahahaha.
and paul calls michelle "the great demi goddess of work" HAHAHA
i was so bogged down i asked if i could do the filing tmr but she insisted today. oh wells. when i saw cindy's email on payroll i almost fainted. so much more filing to do. i just completed half of the housing benefits. oh wait...not even near half =X
my intuition was really strong today. during the course, alice threw 4 folded slips with the alphabets A B C D. and out of the 4 i could spot the B and i was right! she opened C then D and i was talking to myself no no that one is B. thats the one u are looking for. then she went to open A and ta da my B! OMG. i know my intuition is usually quite accurate but this one was..spot on! and i was really sure. i just felt it. like bam. scary sia.
which reminds me...this morning i turned on the inner toilet light and wasnt wearing my specs then i saw a white figure run past. and i was like WHO IS THAT?!?? then i heard my sis say me! i didnt know she came back la. almost died of shock -_-" 人吓人会吓死人！
i will aim to knock off at 530 tmr haha.
i almost got past myself to say it. but u interrupted and spoilt that moment with your lunch sighting.

im so exhausted.
morning was shopping for bra straps hahaha.
i dunno why but i feel like shopping for shoes. strappy heels ;)
ballet was horrible. she was cruel today. compared to last wk's lesson..i kinda felt that we jumped 4 grades or something. she started to teach tough and complicated stuff. ya la i know its supposed to be intermediate already so of course standards are higher but i thought she would be easy on us for a few wks mah. oh and she kept laughing at my facial expressions i gave after she demostrated the sets. then the new jump she taught today..teresa and i just couldnt get it. we were like the 2 slow ones. and she went NO NO NO! TWINS! =X so when i went to collect my receipt from her she said TWINS! then when teresa and i went to tick our names on the namelist she said TWINS! again. yea. dunno why we just really couldnt get it. did it correctly in the end but still dunno why is it correct. oh wells. shall go figure out some other day hahaha.
but at least she corrected 1 major mistake ive been trying to figure out. it is like when i pirouette, i can never land properly. so apparently it is coz i shift my weight off my standing leg just before i land. no wonder my landing sucks la!
oh and i got my 1st pay yest =) but it was pathetic la. oh wells. so just now my dad was like tonight's dinner on u? i went NO!! pls la that amt..not even enough to cover my ballet fees and costume, driving lessons, food and transport and my outstanding 500+ credit card bill. i have no idea how i swiped so much =X

alright my head is much clearer now.
yest had course from 1030-5pm. it is really sucky when the training room is like a freezer and u are having cramps. i felt so nauseated the whole day i couldnt eat anything. but thank goodness the pain was really mild compared to the ones i usually get. maybe the korean ginseng that my mum bought for me is working. my dad said i think u walk more nowadays so u are fitter, so must exercise more. im sure la.
left at around 545. actually i had a lot of urgent work. but the pain was becoming worse and my backache was getting worse too. so i told my seniors that i will do the work on mon. prob go in at 7+ and finish everything before they get in. i dont like the idea of leaving the office with work undone.
oh in the lift, paul and i heard these guys talking abt the car park and gg up 7 stories. then one of the guys said im worried abt the aunties. and i was like ??!? i found it funny hee.
thurs night michelle frightened me so much. i think she stressed me out so my menses came early. coz it always comes early when im stressed. it was supposed to come on 27th only. she said i sent all the wrong organizers to the assignees. then i was thinking OH NO! so i went to check with li wen and it is the correct organizers leh. then she was like oh ya CS provide employment income. i asked her do i have insurance? coz at this rate i will die of heart attack very soon. she said i dont think so and u must take care to take care of me, u panic i will panic too.

and during the course they mentioned that associates 2 and consultants 1 get the easier cases while consultants 2 and above get the tough cases. then i thought abt michelle being a senior consultant means...its gonna be complex cases >.<
i just found out that she is a senior consultant. she looks way too young to be one. li wen said that most ppl leave after 2 yrs so if u can stay for 4-5yrs, u would be able to rise to manager position. tax seems the easier way out huh ;) later on my dad told me it is the same for audit. my eldest sis was a manager at EY when she left. i was like oh i didnt know =X
and soi noi asked if i wanna go back nxt year. i like working there. except for the stress u are under coz really cannot make mistakes. i already made quite a few =( and it doesnt help that the stupid GO keeps sabotaging my work and making the CS manager, cindy, think that i keep making mistakes with TDOs. i think GO hates me or something. neways im thinking of trying audit and banking. hmm maybe i'll split the 3 months or something.
shaun was suaning me yest. he came over to play around with my hair then said u shld eat something. then he covered his stomach and said i experienced it too! i was like yea right. and he laughed -_-"
then i went to ask denise how come shaun knew what i was suffering from. and she said i thought u told him? i was like no i only told paul. then she said oh she told the guys it was girls matter so he prob guessed it.
oh wells i guess im pretty open abt it. so nvm. during lunch i called my dad and i said my menses came..im having cramps...
neways i really wanna thank my VT friends and rashidah for making me feel better yest =) esp paul, denise, jx and cheryl. my seniors didnt even notice i was unwell la =(
i really wanna say this but my employment contract specifically says i cannot say mention abt such things. grr. im bursting inside. i was doing hypo tax computations and referring to past years. really pity those guys. well..be glad i did ur computations this year and gave u ur deserved reliefs and deductions ;)

since im online and will be busy nxt wk i thought i shld just update a little abt today.
i am so exhausted.
ballet was actually fairly basic. but i have been lazy. didnt stretch. didnt prac. so of course i suffered. i kinda even forgot how to do the jumps =X and for 1 set, teresa and i did it too fast and our teacher stared at us haha. and another set the whole class did it 8 counts too fast. so we got scolded. heh.
the worst thing was that after ballet we came out and then it poured. sickening. got so drenched. my sis met me halfway with an umbrella so she got drenched coz of me haha.
went all around spore. i dont wanna talk abt that. im jus so glad to be home. i think im gonna hit the bed at 10 tonight.
oh and mar...ur msg. earth to xiao qi. im responding to an urgent emergency call about something im not sure of.

alright just to clear things up..my entry last sat didnt imply that any of the guys was driving under influence that night. yup. they were just wild from dancing. doesnt really equate to drink driving. really sorry guys. i should have been more careful while writing that part.
neways i went shopping yest. somehow the credit card has become a liability. my dad chases me after everything i charge to it. now im afraid to use the card. i bought a blouse yest. my dad asked me how come i bought clothes again. i was like oh thats xt's (my sis) i signed for her. i told my mum beforehand to gang up with me ;) i bought another 2 blouses using cash i took from my mum. somehow sch doesnt seem that bad anymore. at least when im studying, i can shop and dont really care how much i chalk up. but now that im working...my parents are trying to make me pay for my own clothes too! >.<

i like the fact that my weight keeps going down =) i have no idea why. coz i eat a lot more than i usually do. sometimes it is like breakfast at 10 then lunch at 12 and snacks at 4 then dinner. and lunch it 2X of what i usually eat. but i like the fact that my weight keeps gg down every week =)) soon my BMI will hit below 16 ;)
had lunch at some place across planet fitness. cheryl and junxin didnt join us coz they were meeting friends. so it was just the 6 of us.
OT-ed last night to create and send TDOs for denise's senior rashidah coz denise went to jay chou's concert. also had to edit the hypo tax calc, cover letter, form B1 and teq (tax equalisation). this one was really urgent. and i had to finish up the tax com rashidah gave me 2 days ago. then i started a bit on housing benefits. li wen gave it to me on mon and it has been sitting on my desk since mon. i told her i felt really bad abt it. also said when i went home at 10 on wed night w/o completing michelle's files, i couldnt sleep. but on thurs, after i finished everything, i went home and i could sleep! so yea i really just felt like i had to stay back to do something to make me feel better hahaha. li wen said wah u are too responsible le!
oh oh li wen and rashidah said i can come back again in dec. but they said no work so everyday go off at 530 ;) they wanted me to come back again after yr 1 but i guess i will be doing audit to secure my 2nd yr job and a job after my final yr.
im glad things are getting better =)

i shldnt even be here lah. im supposed to sleep before 10 tonight. after OT-ing until so late last night i better catch up on my sleep.

my mum was jealous of my really nice shirt hahaha XD
met up with li sha. pretended i went to the toilet. ahem yea. toilet break a bit long haha.
talked a lot to someone about something that happened on sun night. we were really frank about it. but luckily we talked abt it otherwise the nxt few months would be really awkward.
and i have never ever been complimented in such a special way before =)
my mum picked me for dinner. she told me about it on fri morning but it slipped my mind. got home really late =(
i dont know why. you went home feeling better. i went home feeling worse.
tues:
what a day. all i can remember was work work work work work. i stayed back to help May send out the TDOs that was overdue. left at 7+.
and they assigned me another senior michelle. also under credit suisse. li wen asked me if i have spare capacity. i was like uh...i think so? denise is gonna be transferred to the admin dept. so im gonna be the only VT left in CS. so i would be the ultimate sacrifice -_-"

spent the entire morning trying to do a hypo tax + form B1 + cover letter + teq. May gave it to me on tues. and wrote pls calculate hypo tax. i was like whats hypo tax??!? luckily paul helped me with it.
in the late afternoon..michelle's 40 files came in O_O
paul helped me out with some but he had to leave. darren and i were the only VTs that stayed back quite late.
cheryl, one of the associates, had dinner with me. yong tao fu. not the usual watery kind. this one is really really nice! =) good thing i had a filling dinner to last me the night.
crap la. i stayed in the office till 10 >.<>
and guess what? my parents werent worried. they werent the ones asking me to go home. my friends were the ones smsing to chase me home. paul smsed to say he felt guilty for leaving me behind. he wanted to pick me but he couldnt leave. i told him i could cab home. he said nxt time i wanna work late, let him know in advance so that he can arrange to pick me up. hes so nice! =)
went back and took of my shoes since all the managers gone. i like to walk around in the office without shoes on haha. btw the aircon shut off at 6 -_-"
i left around 10pm. went to taxi stand. omg the queue was like nuts la. so i called a cab. neways can claim haha ;)

i woke up and looked at myself in the mirror and i was like oh no is that me?!? only OT 1 night!
reached office at 8am. only 10hrs since i left the night before! worked on the files again. finished around 11+ and passed it all back to michelle. i felt really really great =)) then she was like oh no so it is my turn to OT tonight? haha.
then later on i did TDOs again and after lunch i worked on another hypotax. then it was course on how to conduct meetings. actually i had 1 more hypo to do. all of it is urgent. but i really couldnt take it le. and May said she will do it for me so i zao-ed haha. i feel guilty! coz it is my work!
paul keeps saying untrue stuff abt me. like i asked soi noi (the manager) for her donut and her fan. he said might as well ask her for her room! he said mark told him that. and mark said i purposely OT-ed on wed night by doing all the files wrongly. argh. sickening. those 2 guys. grr.

talked a lot to someone about something that happened on sun night. we were really frank about it. but luckily we talked abt it otherwise the nxt few months would be really awkward.

my mum picked me for dinner. she told me about it on fri morning but it slipped my mind. got home really late =(

what a day. all i can remember was work work work work work. i stayed back to help May send out the TDOs that was overdue. left at 7+.
and they assigned me another senior michelle. also under credit suisse. li wen asked me if i have spare capacity. i was like uh...i think so? denise is gonna be transferred to the admin dept. so im gonna be the only VT left in CS. so i would be the ultimate sacrifice -_-"
wed:
spent the entire morning trying to do a hypo tax + form B1 + cover letter + teq. May gave it to me on tues. and wrote pls calculate hypo tax. i was like whats hypo tax??!? luckily paul helped me with it.
in the late afternoon..michelle's 40 files came in O_O
paul helped me out with some but he had to leave. darren and i were the only VTs that stayed back quite late.
cheryl, one of the associates, had dinner with me. yong tao fu. not the usual watery kind. this one is really really nice! =) good thing i had a filling dinner to last me the night.
crap la. i stayed in the office till 10 >.<>
and guess what? my parents werent worried. they werent the ones asking me to go home. my friends were the ones smsing to chase me home. paul smsed to say he felt guilty for leaving me behind. he wanted to pick me but he couldnt leave. i told him i could cab home. he said nxt time i wanna work late, let him know in advance so that he can arrange to pick me up. hes so nice! =)
went back and took of my shoes since all the managers gone. i like to walk around in the office without shoes on haha. btw the aircon shut off at 6 -_-"
i left around 10pm. went to taxi stand. omg the queue was like nuts la. so i called a cab. neways can claim haha ;)

i woke up and looked at myself in the mirror and i was like oh no is that me?!? only OT 1 night!
reached office at 8am. only 10hrs since i left the night before! worked on the files again. finished around 11+ and passed it all back to michelle. i felt really really great =)) then she was like oh no so it is my turn to OT tonight? haha.
then later on i did TDOs again and after lunch i worked on another hypotax. then it was course on how to conduct meetings. actually i had 1 more hypo to do. all of it is urgent. but i really couldnt take it le. and May said she will do it for me so i zao-ed haha. i feel guilty! coz it is my work!
paul keeps saying untrue stuff abt me. like i asked soi noi (the manager) for her donut and her fan. he said might as well ask her for her room! he said mark told him that. and mark said i purposely OT-ed on wed night by doing all the files wrongly. argh. sickening. those 2 guys. grr.
i feel like going to the beach and watch the sun set and hear the sound of the waves.
i thought i was sure of the answer. but when it really came. i didnt know anymore.

im recovering from the after-effects of late night partying.
fri started off with calling IRAS and rushing out assignees' info on GO and PeTS. May said i could take my own sweet time when she gave it to me 2 days ago. then fri morning she suddenly said its urgent. and i had to create TDOs for my 3 seniors. all of the work came in at the same time. was overwhelmed.
lunch was fish and chips at some restaurant. quite nice. we girls couldnt finish so the greedy guys helped us to finish haha. like jx said, lunch is becoming shorter and days are getting longer.
went back to finish creating the TDOs. didnt take a long time. finished quite fast so denise's senior gave me work. i was complaining to denise. i just finished all the GO and PeTS stuff and celebrated then i was given more. shldnt have asked for work. shld have just OA-ed. grr. i hate updating info GO and PeTS! so boring.
oh but one of the assignees right..i was keying in his children's info. then one of the kids was born on 4 Aug 2005 the other on 5th Aug 2002. so they get to eat bdae cakes on 2 consecutive days! so cool! haha.
slogged till 615 adding new assignees to GO. gave up trying to create TDOs for them although it is urgent. i told my senior i couldnt get through coz the other part of the world was logging onto GO. oh and they shut off the aircon at 530 sharp. crap la. i was stranded with jx. shuan went back to get his car. mark went with him. paul left to get his car too. jx and i went down early to wait for shaun. got a call from mark after 30 min to say they will be reaching in 15 min O_O jx and i decided to go up to the toilet. went back to office and was looking at the traffic jam from bird's eye view. pretty nice view. got another call from mark. said they will be reaching in 1 min. so jx and i hurried down.
oh and shaun got lost along the way -_-" reached there at like 7+ le. queued for a very long time for food. wasnt really hungry coz rashidah and li wen kept feeding me stuff. and i was snacking on muffins while on GO. GO makes me hungry la.
and there wasnt space. we sat on the stage. i barely ate then went for the drinks. mark helped me to get chardonnay =) after i finished it we got chased off the stage. when i stood up my head was spinning. i was like oh no only 1 glass. i think coz i didnt really eat. so my stomach was quite empty. and empty stomach means 0 alcohol tolerance. paul finally came and mark got me a glass of water which helped me to recover haha.
games started. May won 1 of the games! then there was another game where 2 partners had to make each other laugh. one of the ang moh went to pull down the other guy's zipper o_O after games was lucky draw. shaun won a PSP! wow! then our seniors and the rest from the department started to snatch his psp. they were really high and drunk haha. they kept making us drink shots. and cristalle was like how come u guys arent drunk? free flow! go!
jx and i went to the toilet. we came back and the guys started to pull us to the dance floor. paul told me that he drank shots. i was like oh no he is sending us back leh. mark drank quite a few but he wasnt driving so its ok. shaun was pretty high. i could tell coz he put his arm around me.
since the free flow was closing we got more drinks. paul ordered gin tonic for jx and i coz we didnt know what to order. 1st time clubbing mah. the guys are experienced clubbers haha. so we drank and went back dancing. a short while later jx and i decided we needed more alcohol to dance haha. by the time it was the 3rd last song things were really wild and lynn was trying to make us drink somemore shots. i tried to stop paul and shaun coz they were gonna drive. when i saw paul dance i was like omg we are so gonna crash tonight haha. but later on as the alcohol settled in i ended up taking another shot. couldnt really feel the burning effect le. paul wanted me to demo a pirouette so i tried but uh ended up crashing into ppl on the other side coz it was too crowded. luckily he caught me before i fell haha. i like the lights. and the blasting music added to the atmosphere.
party ended so we went to zouk to check it out. but it wasnt as wild as pwc party and it was getting late and i couldnt walk straight already so we headed home. paul was trying to get directions from me but i could barely think so we went one big round. sorry! my brain was slow haha. when i got home i tried to walk straight like mark suggested. went straight to my room. and while i was showering i almost slipped. didnt fall but i knocked my head. ouch.
actually i didnt drink much leh. shldnt have such a big effect. but maybe coz i stopped drinking for quite some time and my stomach was quite empty. but uh it was the 1st time i got so high. cool haha.

today was embarrassing -_-"
had CS internal meeting at 2:30. then i couldnt find my senior li wen so i thought she went down already then i went to find my other senior May and told her i think li wen went down already. so she was like ok lets go. so we went down to meeting floor then went to the room. and we saw a lot of ppl inside. (the glass had transparent and opaque parts) May went oh shit we are late! so we barged in. only to see all the managers having meeting inside >.<>
neways cindy, the manager who headed the meeting, said Credit Suisse aka CS is the most prestigious client in the tax department. and all my seniors are handling CS so i get to do CS too. either im lucky or i got it coz of my connections heh.
the rest of the day was mundane stuff. updating assignees' info on GO and PeTs. got so bored. luckily li wen gave me letters to type and print and send out.
oh lunch was nice claypot salted fish fried rice. except the disturbing "my paper" promotion. they came to snap pictures and film the lunch crowd @ china square. which included us. and they had ppl playing the guitar and di zi on the hippo bus. was really noisy. whats the point la. its still SPH, the monopoly lor. and "my paper" isnt that interesting. i still prefer straits times. i get all the info i need in there.
going to velvet tmr. i hope its not all hard liqour.
oh and someone knocked my plug so my tv and dvd recorder went off and so my 430 tawainese drama wasnt recorded. my hao ge! =(

ballet dance fees up by 9 bucks! argh. its already so ex then up somemore. my salary doesnt even go up. stupid. maybe i shld really change to the one in bukit timah. gah.
training on PeTs and GO today. tried so hard to stay awake for the 1st half then after lunch i succumbed =( denise and paul said they caught me sleeping =X i hope the manager who was presenting didnt see. but i think chances are slim >.<
got 2 hrs lunch today. same as yest. but nothing much to do. just walked around aimlessly.
starting work officially tmr =)

ahhh basic tax training today was worse than expected. after 1.5hrs i zoned out. sheesh. she talked abt cpf then called my name and i was like huh? =X
it was supposed to end at 530 but ended an hr earlier then the rest wanted to go home haha. i had work to clear and was waiting for my mum to pick me so i worked till 6:20+ i could have worked longer just that i had to go off and i was hungry. took muffins from the food machine heh.
i was telling denise when i reach home i will just watch tv the whole night. and she said yea thats what i do too! but i told her i ran out of tv programs to watch le so i dun mind working haha. i even went to record "the search for the next pussycat doll". so not my type of show. i watched 1 episode of it the day As ended. so i decided to record the finale and see who won in the end. whether i watch it anot is another thing. but yea like i said i had nothing to watch. so i watched the recording on sun. and this girl called Asia won. i was like WHAT?!?? O_O she's such a bitch la. i like melissa and the song she sang "stick with you". Asia didnt deserve to win. hmph i feel cheated.

went to register for basic theory test yest. earliest test date is 4th april. crap la. 2 days before my bdae. if i fail i'll be so sad on my bdae =( its a long long wait and april is peak period for tax. then must take leave for the test. oh no oh no. sigh. i shld have made up my mind earlier. coz i wasnt sure if im gonna do private or school. haiz. oh wells.
met prathipa there! =) she recognised me haha XD was soaked in the rain. i went with pei tsung to register. got the same test day but different sessions. so irritating la. go all the way there somemore. we were supposed to key in password then i saw the del button so i thought it is del but then turn out to be decimal so i asked the person to erase and pei tsung kept laughing at me -_-"
btw i counted wrongly haha. pwc is 6.50 per hour. i kept thinking dun count weekends but i divided by 30 days =X so yea the pay not bad haha. 6.50 + cpf. and OT is 6.50X1.5=9.75 + cpf =) and can claim meal allowances. up to $6 without receipt. with receipt max is $10. oh and work past 9pm can claim cab fare =)) I WANNA WORK OT! XD
neways mon-fri after work i come home and watch tv the whole night then weekends also nothing to do. pei tsung ask me how come i dun go out with friends. he said so no life de. 1st reason: im lazy. 2nd reason: i hate the crowds on weekends. so i rather go back to office to kill time. if i stay at home my parents will nag at me to study. and im used to no life already mah. slacked for 5 wks after As and felt so uh guilty and dead. go to work and do something productive makes me feel alive again ;) workaholic yea i know haha.
i got to earn my driving lesson fees and my ballet class fees and pay for my own food and transport expenses and any other shopping i do. dun work OT i wun have savings de =(
but i dun like the trainings. mon-wed 8hr training each day. gah. boring! i hope my senior who is on leave will come back soon so i can get more work =)

missed my blog haha.
neways i started work on wed. so just an update abt the new year. spent the 1st day of 2008 shopping for office shoes. finally found one which i thought was walkable but i was so wrong.
wed (1st day of work):
i got to pwc on too early. 740am when im supposed to report at 830 -_-" it was mainly intro on some software and some other stuff. vacation trainees (VTs) each got a laptop. but it was an old oily one =( had to take photos for the pass. VTs were the last. 7 A level graduates. supposed to be 8 but one didnt turn up. of the 8, 4 girls and 4 guys. 3 of the girls were from RJ, 1 of the guys from Rj and the other 2 from SA and AC. the guys completed NS already.
at around 4 we were shown our seats and had to parade around -_-" and the locking of laptops wasnt an easy task. julia (one of the managers) told us to find something to do till 530. so it was mainly slacking until knock off time and were told abt a meeting at 9 the nxt morning.
i like the pantry. it is so cool. nxt time i take pics and upload heh.
all the girls came in heels and went home with blisters.
thurs (2nd day of work):
i could barely walk in heels already.
i planned to go later but i saw the bus and i ran for it thinking i was late. when i got onto the bus and checked my phone it was only 7:11 -_-" reached there at around 740 again. went up and found that i couldnt open the door with my pass. the cleaning auntie said its not 8 yet so my pass cannot open the door. she let me in and i met shaun inside. he came at 7 O_O went to pantry to eat breakfast. neways had nothing to do and the paper i took downstairs was in chinese eew. shaun said the auntie told him nxt time off peak dont come so early! haha
later on we received news that the person we were supposed to meet at 9 will be late so meeting post-poned to 930. and so we chat and chat until 930. then at 930 she made us take down christmas deco O_O sheesh. then we slacked more. had lunch (prawn mee) together in the area and kept running into pwc staff. after lunch was more slacking and briefings and more intros to the same ppl. i cant remember the order of events but we had pantry meeting. all of us except paul (who was reading stuff on wiki) gathered in the pantry to eat and drink and chat.
then later on after being introduced to the seniors we were told to find work and pester them for work. each of us were assigned to 3 seniors. 1 of my seniors on leave. so i went to find the other 2: li wen and may. li wen gave me stuff to read and said she'll find stuff for me. then i went to find may and may said that she is quite free too. she said she'll find work tmr and then see if theres anything for me -_-"
at around 430 li wen gave me a sample of a letter and asked me to draft 2 others to IRAS. so that was my 1st piece of work =) the others had to OA (work organisation, which actually means doing anything thats unproductive or doing nothing at all).
fri (3rd day of work):
i wore flats.
i took 2 buses after the usual bus i took. and reached there at 8:02. still too early -_-" but neways li wen went through the work that i did and corrected it and left it on my table so i went to edit. gah didnt take note that for one of the person, the chargeable income i looked at was only for 9 months =X darren and shaun helped me to connect the printer so i could print the letters out. waited around for LW and May to come in. but 9+ they still not here so i went to find team leader, manager of team A, soi noi. and soi noi said she has no work for me too =( so i had to OA -_-" after my seniors came in i was loaded with loads of filing, photocopying and punch holing to do. had like 44 (from LW) +78 (from May) files to complete. must put in authorisation list, check if RAIT is in and check whether meeting is done. gah. luckily paul to help me out with stapling and stuff. coz his seniors were all on leave. the rest OA-ed on pwc's msn (sametime connect) haha.
had jap lunch. i shared with jx coz the portion was big. went back to work on the files. by 330 i completed LW's batch. pantry meeting was supposed to be at 4. but by 4pm, all the VTs' seniors dumped work on them so our pantry meeting was cancelled =( i worked on some of May's files. jx and paul came to help out. then by 5 i stopped filing le. coz iPower was up so we could key in whatever we did into our timesheet. LW and May saw that i was free and asked if i completed the rest yet. i said im saving it for next wk ;) coz at 5pm i already clocked 6.8 chargeable hrs. which was more than enough. so i decided to OA haha. neways my seniors will be late in the morning so must have work reserve heh.
nxt mon, tues and wed there will be 8X3=24 hrs of training. yuck. but actually work so far is quite ok.
neways i started work on wed. so just an update abt the new year. spent the 1st day of 2008 shopping for office shoes. finally found one which i thought was walkable but i was so wrong.
wed (1st day of work):
i got to pwc on too early. 740am when im supposed to report at 830 -_-" it was mainly intro on some software and some other stuff. vacation trainees (VTs) each got a laptop. but it was an old oily one =( had to take photos for the pass. VTs were the last. 7 A level graduates. supposed to be 8 but one didnt turn up. of the 8, 4 girls and 4 guys. 3 of the girls were from RJ, 1 of the guys from Rj and the other 2 from SA and AC. the guys completed NS already.
at around 4 we were shown our seats and had to parade around -_-" and the locking of laptops wasnt an easy task. julia (one of the managers) told us to find something to do till 530. so it was mainly slacking until knock off time and were told abt a meeting at 9 the nxt morning.
i like the pantry. it is so cool. nxt time i take pics and upload heh.
all the girls came in heels and went home with blisters.
thurs (2nd day of work):
i could barely walk in heels already.
i planned to go later but i saw the bus and i ran for it thinking i was late. when i got onto the bus and checked my phone it was only 7:11 -_-" reached there at around 740 again. went up and found that i couldnt open the door with my pass. the cleaning auntie said its not 8 yet so my pass cannot open the door. she let me in and i met shaun inside. he came at 7 O_O went to pantry to eat breakfast. neways had nothing to do and the paper i took downstairs was in chinese eew. shaun said the auntie told him nxt time off peak dont come so early! haha
later on we received news that the person we were supposed to meet at 9 will be late so meeting post-poned to 930. and so we chat and chat until 930. then at 930 she made us take down christmas deco O_O sheesh. then we slacked more. had lunch (prawn mee) together in the area and kept running into pwc staff. after lunch was more slacking and briefings and more intros to the same ppl. i cant remember the order of events but we had pantry meeting. all of us except paul (who was reading stuff on wiki) gathered in the pantry to eat and drink and chat.
then later on after being introduced to the seniors we were told to find work and pester them for work. each of us were assigned to 3 seniors. 1 of my seniors on leave. so i went to find the other 2: li wen and may. li wen gave me stuff to read and said she'll find stuff for me. then i went to find may and may said that she is quite free too. she said she'll find work tmr and then see if theres anything for me -_-"
at around 430 li wen gave me a sample of a letter and asked me to draft 2 others to IRAS. so that was my 1st piece of work =) the others had to OA (work organisation, which actually means doing anything thats unproductive or doing nothing at all).
fri (3rd day of work):
i wore flats.
i took 2 buses after the usual bus i took. and reached there at 8:02. still too early -_-" but neways li wen went through the work that i did and corrected it and left it on my table so i went to edit. gah didnt take note that for one of the person, the chargeable income i looked at was only for 9 months =X darren and shaun helped me to connect the printer so i could print the letters out. waited around for LW and May to come in. but 9+ they still not here so i went to find team leader, manager of team A, soi noi. and soi noi said she has no work for me too =( so i had to OA -_-" after my seniors came in i was loaded with loads of filing, photocopying and punch holing to do. had like 44 (from LW) +78 (from May) files to complete. must put in authorisation list, check if RAIT is in and check whether meeting is done. gah. luckily paul to help me out with stapling and stuff. coz his seniors were all on leave. the rest OA-ed on pwc's msn (sametime connect) haha.
