anyways im CANCER FREE =) didnt feel much when the doc told me that coz i psyched myself to think that theres no way i can get cancer coz i dont have time to go for the chemo, surgery etc or even stay in hospital. my mum was like thank god! and she hugged me. i think she was more worried than i was =P
after 2 weeks of no driving i forgot most of the circuit stuff =X and this girl in the circuit almost crashed into me. i told my mum that the girl was the one in the wrong. but it would be kinda fun if she did crash into me hee. we were both travelling at very slow speed so there wont be any major damage. i havent sat bumper cars in ages!
and sigh. our fm group got split. im gonna miss jing and tsh *sobs*
oh and my waterproof plaster? the ends opened up when i was bathing -_-" so much for waterproof! the plaster got wet so the dried blood came trickling down. the smell of the dried blood and iodine and the sight of that depression that has turn blue made me feel like i was gonna faint. and no im not kidding. i had to lie down after that. my mum took the waterproof plaster out to keep the tape dry. the tissue had better grow back otherwise im gonna need reconstructive surgery and im gonna dieeeeeeee. no silicon nooooooooooooooooooooooooo
and i read that the surgery i was supposed to have is a day surgery plus a night stay in the hospital. im still so glad i got away without it =P
went to auntie nancy's house on sat night for dinner. she cooked this awesome seafood fare WHICH I COULDNT HAVE BECAUSE OF THE STUPID OP. rahhhh.
and i swear i hate wearing bra. hmph.
okay so it was 1 big one and not two joined together (like the radiologist thought). so total length is about 2.5cm and not 1.59 and 0.83cm. like my doc said its actually quite big. and coz its 2.5cm while the needle is only 2cm, it was very challenging to do the small incision procedure. she said she would have recommended surgery if she knew the actual length. and that means general anesthesia and not local anesthesia. but my doc administered loads of local anesthesia coz of the size. and by loads i really mean loads. ive lost count of how many times she injected me with that 10cm long needle O_O
alright backtrack a little. i woke up at 7 and thought it was too early so i went back to sleep (surprisingly i could). and i dreamt that i was going for my op but i forgot my x ray films. gee. then my mum came in to wake me at 8:40 and the op was at 9am. yeah so i was late for my op. but its alright coz my doc was even later. which was kinda expected from the consultation i had so good thing i slept more ;)
the nurse made me change into this green gown and put on this green cap. after i was done i sat on the bed. when she walked in she laughed. guess i looked kinda cute =P administering the LA was horribly painful. before she did i was like you know...actually...im quite afraid of injections. and my arms and legs were numb before the whole thing even started =X i guess partly from the position but mostly from the fear heh.
so the machine sliced it and removed it in strips. wasnt a bloody sight so it was quite okay. i imagined it to be a really gruesome sight haha.
the 2nd worst part came later on when i had to lie on my front to add pressure for like an hour. it was horribly annoying coz im the kind who gets restless after sitting in the steam room for 5 min. like just sit there and do nothing?? yea i talked to my mum a little but it was so uncomfortable i just wanted to sit up. and then i decided to make a trip to the toilet coz the doc was doing another op so she couldnt check on me. after i came back the nurse said its alright to sit up already so when the doc came in and saw me she said oh shes sitting up and smiling! thats good for me!
haha okay i think ive been smiling a lot lately. not just today but the whole week in school. its good right? =)
maybe the above wasnt the 2nd worst part. the 2nd worst part is to keep my bra on for the next 168 hours. oh crap. i cant even describe how annoying its gonna be when usually the only time i keep it on is when i have to and that is when im out of the house. and no showering for the first 24 hours with half my chest bounded. its tough even breathing.
funny thing is ive always wanted a long mc to escape from pe. now i have 8 days of mc but nothing to use in on. grr.
but im pissed coz i went for tuition after my op and my student wasnt even there! like have the courtesy to inform me? i just did my op and i made my way there for you! argh.
