todays the 13th. so i rather not talk about it.

my sec 2 boy got full marks for his maths test! =) i love teaching him coz effort-to-performance expectancy is high, performance-to-outcome is high and outcome valence is quite alright. as for my monster EP is high but PO is low and OV is bottom rock.
see ive been seeing too much ob lately haha
and i was reading the papers just now. allswell ad is really sucky but they get free advertisement in the newspapers everyday coz people are talking about it. cunning. haha
okay time for more tuition. and im really tired of talking non-stop during lessons =(

ob is done done done! =)
took me at least 40 hours to finish those 2 cases. the 40 hour OB marathon >.<
my mum said the cases very good. should ask you to present during my management summit. i was like you can ask HR to employ me as your company's ethics trainer hahaha
anyways i just got back from bio tuition. wah she asked me about plant and animal kingdoms. and the last i saw of those sponges, angiosperm, etc was in april 2007. my h3 final exam. so you can imagine how much i could actually recall. IF i recalled anything at all. haha. too bad the first 2 lesson fees goes to the agent =(
and my mummy ate the freddie choco li jing gave me *sobs* i asked her to keep it for me then she said oh it melted so i ate it for you. hmph.
okay got to rush to my sec 2 boy's house now.

ps: my dad asked me do you have time to revise for exams? and im like revise?!? i can barely finish my tutorials and projects!

home is still the best.
although ive been running all around spore and there wont be a day where i will get to stay at home the entire day but it beats staying in the hall. coz it feels like home =)
i went back to school yesterday to do a presentation for student leaders on how to file taxes. and it was the first time i actually used a mike. pretty cool experience. but took up so much of my time just going there and coming back.
then at night my sec 2 boy's mum came up to the room and was like boy ah can i hijack your teacher? hahaha. she needed help on excel but i was well...clueless. i know linear programming can solve it but other than that...ahem. haha.
ob today at KAP. its been a really long time since i stepped in there. i remember when i was young, on my dad's good-mood-days he would bring us down to KAP at night when he gets back from work and buy us happy meals =)
oh and the weather has been giving me headaces but tonight's water will be perfect for the long awaited swim.

ok so it was 5 days of fever on and off. when my mum came to pick me i was like see you two go to phuket to have fun and dump your sick daughter in the hall. then my mum asked if you had fever for 5 days, how did you study? and before i could say anything..my dad went study?! she was watching the stock market! hahaha yeah i was. esp thurs night. it was a really fast and crazy market.
ballet today was taken over by this non-english speaking male dancer. so he was sprouting all sorts of technical terms. okay it wasnt really technical technical but you know i have to get used to terms in chinese when my brain is quite retarded from all the medications. and his exercises left my back aching. i bet i wont be able to stand straight tomorrow and theres the tax presentation thing which i have yet to rehearse again. ahem.
and i have had enough of microsoft and boeing. like solve your own problems ok!? argh. freaking case is so many pages long. and requires all kind of extra research.
oh yes i didnt see my monster for the entire week. so my blood pressure for the week is normal ;) i was explaining electricity to my sec 2 boy. and one of the questions asked for the source of electricity in the mrt station. or was it the trains. but anyways the answer was wet cell and dynamo. and i was like uh actually i have no idea what a wet cell is. i think its out of syllabus.
the kind of things i teach my students. hee. but im glad that he transformed from this low self esteem boy to this really cheerful and confident boy under my teaching. i think it was a really long time since he got 80+ heh.
i think im starting to fall in love with teaching =)
but what is recess week when theres no time for fun? =( i need more time for myself and to get down to practising ballet. hmph.
and thanks to yi heng, i changed my font in msn to a really cool one haha

go on and mock me stupid chocolate.
im having a craving for choco but i cant eat it coz im still sick =(
but who cares coz im happy =) my sec 2 boy messaged me to say he got 26/30 for his science test! =) he was getting 66% then i helped him revise for his common test. took 3 lessons only but he improved by 20%! omg =)
ahhh so this is what it feels like. its more satisfying when your students get good grades haha. but it still cant erase the thought of how i blew my A+ for econs by one careless mistake. multiplication and division. argh.

right. so i had fever on sat till tues morning. then it came back after ob meeting. but went away this morning only to come back again after skipping dinner coz i was too engrossed with my marketing slides.
being sick and medicated makes you depressed. but being sick and alone makes it even more depressing.
i actually cried just now coz im sick and my parents arent with me and im missing home so much =(

i think im coming down with flu. been sneezing away the whole day and my nose is still feeling uncomfortable =(
its definitely not the right time to fall sick.
but since when is it the right time to fall sick.
oh and guys...dress does not equal hot date. come on cant girls dress up for themselves? guys are meant to add a little colour, a little spice but they are much less important than ourselves hahaha. im feeling feministic today.
or maybe its the flu bug.
anyways i met chen just now. have fun in uk dear! its a brand new experience. and if you wanna spend more on clothes...just ship yourself home ;)
oh and someone sent me a quiz. and i somehow like quizzes. well most girls do.
gee i just realised ive been generalising a lot lately. makes me think of perceptual errors, projection, stereotyping. must be all the ob concepts floating in my brain. like just now when i saw swensons new menu with chicken rice and laksa, i started thinking about their marketing tactics.
okay i digressed a little. quiz results!
Others see you as sensible, cautious, careful & practical. They see you as clever, gifted, or talented, but modest. Not a person who makes friends too quickly or easily, but someone who's extremely loyal to friends you do make and who expect the same loyalty in return. Those who really get to know you realize it takes a lot to shake your trust In your friends, but equally that it takes you a long time to get over if that trust is ever broken.
and with that im shouting out that im back to feeling normal! crying is an awesome feeling =)
im so glad to finally get my tear ducts back haha.
so a little update about the past week. econs test had a few tricky questions. i cant believe i multiplied by 2 when im supposed to divide by 2. and the worst thing is that i actually checked. sigh.
ob was some pretty nice cat fight. its really nice to sit back and watch. before we entered the sem room, we saw the debaters pacing up and down practising their speeches inside and outside the class room. and jonathan went eh did i come to the right class? why is everyone talking to themselves?
hahaha. i still find it pretty funny.
and my R&T director signed me up for some tax competition thing. i have no idea what it is. i guess i will find out soon enough. but somethings telling me that ignorance is bliss.

prof hooi's last marketing lecture today =(
when i read his announcement i felt my heart sink. reminded me of my fav nus plant lecturer. haha come to think of it..they are quite similar.
neways just a few days ago my dad was talking abt childcare when i asked him to buy me the tuition centre that was up for sale (haha yes). and he said that my university education is so much cheaper than my kindergarten education. i was like huh really? and then today prof hooi showed us pats schoolhouse yearly fees which is 16+K OMG! and i studied there for 4 years. must have been really really ex. but i really enjoyed it. loads of fond memories which money cannot buy =)
stats tutorial was so draggy. and he always ends class half an hour late! coz he wastes a lot of time repeating the same thing over and over again or he does unnecessary stuff. grr.
cravings.
and more cravings.

its a monday =(
and mondays are bad because you wake up knowing is the last day of your so called long weekend. when you wake up on friday you would think theres still sat, sun and mon. then it goes on and on until mon you tell yourself school starts again tmr.
it gets rather depressing dont you think so?
ballet yesterday was intensive. i could barely catch my breath. teacher ended the class with assemble, fifth position jump, assemble, fifth position jump, glissade, assemble, assemble, fifth position jump, assemble, fifth position jump, glissade, assemble. i can do the whole routine but slowly. not at the pace she set. so it got really jumbled up and i think she gave up hahaha
but well only 8 people turned up so each of us got quite a bit of attention =)
i know its an advanced class but when she gives us really tough routines i will have the OMG we are so gonna die look on my face. and my ballet teacher said i like that face! -_-"

i actually had a nice long sleep despite the very eerie disruption in the middle of the night.
coz i left my charger in the hall so i had to use my old phone (but i cant find the charger either). so there was only 1 bar left. then it died while i tried to msg someone. but it revived in the middle of the night only to die yet again. it can get really freaky. to hear your phone turn on by itself then turn off by itself again. i seriously hope it was some hui guang fan zhao and not due to some external force...
okay enough of scaring myself. i got to live today and tmr without a phone =(
its nearing that time of the month and i have econs test on wed *fingers crossed*

my sec 2 boy's math improved from 60 to 77 after 6 lessons only!! =) at first he said 23/30 then i was thinking huh so low 60+% only? i thought i did a lot of revision with him? (my brain wasnt really working. hasnt been since debate ended) only until i left his house then i punched in the calculator in my phone then realised it was 76.7%. then i had 2 reactions. first was being really glad he made such a major improvement in such a short time. second was hello i got 90+% for math in sec 2 so he is still so far away! =(
neways i wore my really cute new black dress with white pipping to my grandma's 90th bdae! its been a long time since we had a family gathering. but too bad piggy, auntie and xy werent there =(
i told my parents i wanna tutor econs to revise for my own exams. then nxt yr when i take my bio elective i shall tutor bio to revise for my bio exams. haha. but you get the best of both worlds in such cases right? =)

i think all the moving is leaving my mind confused and disoriented.
i woke up yesterday thinking that im at home only to realise that im in the hall. and today i woke up thinking im in the hall only to realise that im back at home. gee.
neways i think im pmsing. got really irritated by some people yesterday. and the worst thing is that they dont really get the signal when i try to shut them out. forth coming can be really annoying when its over done.
i was underprepared for marketing. i knew it. spent most of my time on ob. so i was really shaky during the marketing presentation. hearing my own voice shakes makes me even more nervous. sigh. but at least ob wasnt that bad. a little fumble here and there but hey we made it through! =)
