is starting to hate herself for vs shopping too early.
why are they having better and better sales??
damn.
ballet lesson was cancelled. apparently they sent out an email which i didnt get. gee so much for being their loyal customer. thankfully i happened to be surfing the web so i went to check sdt website and saw 31 aug sun no class. phew.
p2 tuition is off the entire week. muacks! haha. but got to add a make up lesson for my sec 2 boy. but thats alright coz i enjoy teaching him since hes willing to learn. unlike that little monster of mine who makes my life oh so very difficult. haha

left my baby hippo at home. sleeping without it for the first time in more than 10 years feels like theres something, some part of me missing. i even had an half an hour dream of it. not to mention, coupled with that immense guilt, i could barely sleep. slept at 1am then woke up at 4am this morning. 3 hrs of sleep. sigh.
came back to hall after marketing lecture. wanted to take a nap. but when i looked at the empty bed without my baby hippo...i couldnt sleep =(
left hall at about 210. it was pouring so heavily. my slippers were like soaked. so i happily sat through stats tutorial barefooted. haha
had ob discussion after stats until 630. and still have some stuff on proposal to discuss so meeting again at 8 later.
cant imagine how tmrs gonna be like. marketing discussion tmr at 830am. then com mgmt fundamentals until 1230. then stats and econs lecture until 630. and then tac r&t welcome tea. gee i have a feeling im gonna need loads of mental stamina to get me through tmr.

okay i really cant recall how to key in normal distribution. its been what 9 months? sheesh. i need my notes but they are packed away somewhere....

im so glad the week is over.
thanks to marketing proj, havent really been sleeping much. thank goodness its all over. even if its only for 1 week.
went for hall dinner last night. haha actually i didnt know abt it. or knew. but i conveniently ignored it. until my toiletmate told me during the econs lect time slot. so yes i finally ponned econs lect. haha.
neways it was an 8 course dinner at executive cafe. started really late and ended really late. but i guess it was nice to meet neighbours and stuff. and the food was quite okay so yups. only thing was that it left me with no time to edit slides and prepare speech. so it was an impromptu thing for me. didnt even rehearse. my hands were like shaking -_-"
i need a nice break before i handle ob proposal next week and ob debate, marketing case and com resume on week 5.
its a nice long weekend =)

im sleep deprived again. came home at like midnight on thurs night. had to wake up early on sat morning. and had project discussion till quite late last night. and and i havent started on my hw. wk 2 and i feel like im behind already. oh no oh no.

and with that red blouse goes my 2 other white blouses and 3 skirts. omg omg omg. SIGH.
why didnt anyone tell me that doing laundry requires a certain skill?
im never gonna do my own laundry again.
grr.
went back for lunch with li wen, li ling and ruifen. then cabbed to see shidah and the baby. the baby was really cute haha =) had a really tough time finding my way back. i heard my sis say something abt a straight bus from thomson. so i thought i might find one. but there wasnt any. so i had to take a bus from thomson to orchard then orchard back home. journey took like almost 2 hrs la. and i was in heels. walking around in orchard in heels. ended up with blisters and sore toes coz of all the wrong decisions made =(
came home and was too tired to do anything productive. and im still too tired. plus got to sleep early to send sha off tmr morning. so im just gonna heck and pia hw on sunday and monday. anyway thats what the long weekend is for right? haha

and in addition to that last post. ok not such a good day afterall. coz i just MACHINE WASHED my red blouse thats supposed to be HANDWASHED. and the blouse was freaking expensive and ive only worn it once. OMG OMG OMG
im waiting for my dad to pick me up now so i shall blog a little about today. well despite the lack of sleep and having 8 hour lessons today..today was probaby the best day of my ntu life =) maybe it was due to my red blouse haha
my day went like this
1. started off with...wishing the freaking marketing tutorial didnt start at 830 (although i was wide awake at 6am i still didnt want to get up)
2. prayed at 7am that my toiletmates arent awake yet so they wont come into the toilet and catch me half dressed.
3. rushed through breakfast which consisted of milk, yoghurt and plum.
4. went for markteting tutorial which i really enjoyed.
5. climbed 150 steps from the bottom of the hill back to my room.
6. took out stuff to cook my lunch.
7. burnt some of the stuff so i had a hell of a time scrubbing the pot.
8. gave up scrubbing and decided heck just carry on cooking.
9. finished lunch and blasted the hall 1 office with a pwc-trained-email.
10. realised it was 12:12pm so i hurried along for econs tutorial.
11. went in saw the teacher. jaws dropped and went OMG
12. econs tutorial ended at 2:07pm. loved the teacher (for ending early) MUACKS! haha
13. went for OB with the sinking feeling knowing that lessons end at 6:30pm
14. but guess what? we got SEM group 12 and SEM ROOM 3 mixed up -_-"
15. counted down till 420 which was breaktime
16. wondered why 420 was still such a long time away
17. 420 came and we had tea break outside SR3
18. went back and counted down till 620
19. when lesson ended i thought gee why is ethics so grey (so i should prob read up)
20. went for pwc dinner
21. brought ex collegues back to view my attached bathroom
22. turn on com and saw hall 1 office reply and smiled to myself. haha
23. went over to bond with toiletmates
24. showered and while showering, wondered why people said uni is slack when i feel like im so behind already
25. went to the laundry room 3 times with a heavy basket of laundry coz the washing machines were all full
26. told myself i should have just brought my dirty laundry back
27. is sitting here blogging and falling asleep
alright goodnight =)

mummy: yes
me: uh then is papa in spore? i called home but nobody picked up.
mummy: hes still in spore. leaving on fri morning.

i thought my worst nightmare was over but now its back to haunt me again. barely slept the whole of last night. was in agony the whole time. sigh.
came back to hall after marketing lect to rush stats tutorial. then went to meet melissa to buy stats text. and the queue at popular was so freaking long. and we couldnt find com lab 3. so we ended up 20min late for stats tutorial. gee. ive never been so late for class before.
neways im back in the hall now. supposed to read up on stats but im so tired from the lack of sleep that my brain isnt functioning at all.
oh and i just ate my breakfast cum lunch cum dinner haha. a lot of people told me you wont grow fat during this period so can eat as much as you want. but unfortunately for me im just way too nauseous to eat anything. sigh.

ballet was ahem expected. i needa get some tape to tape my fingers. i mean im busy thinking about my feet so i naturally neglect my fingers?? and it doesnt help that the position is so well..unnatural? hmph.
went to shop for cookware after ballet. im cooking this week. my first time w/o supervision of any sort =)
i watched hitch again last night.
sara: maybe you are right. we should go our separate ways and we will end up fine.
hitch: what if fine isnt enough?
hitch: what if i want extraordinary?
sara: there's no such thing.
Life is not the amount of breaths you take, it's the moments that take your breath away.
i had a really sweet dream last night. the best in months. and that sorted out everything for me =)

my vs shipment arrived! yay =)
i lost my patience with my p2 boy today coz he refused to understand multiplication and division. he said oh i just anyhow ans lor. i got so so frustrated i scolded him in front of his parents. but at least tuition with my sec 2 boy was enjoyable. inequalities. my favourite. haha.
ballet tomorrow. after a 3 week break. i think i know whats gonna happen. ahem. haha
show me how it feels.

im waiting for my mum to pick me. cant wait to go home! finally =)
had stats and econs lects yest. stats was by this indian prof. i swear its the most boring lect ive ever attended. econs was more like hello whats the link between econs and ur idea of clip on mikes? dont waste my time. sheesh.
nicole's right. if its anything i take away from pwc compliance, that would be the effective utilisation of my time. so yes maybe i should pon econs lect and view the online version then fast forward all her nonsense. haha
went for tuition after econs lect. i guess weekday nights are good coz my p2 boy was quite tired from sch so he could sit still. well most of the time. haha.
my mum went to ask my dad for the credit card statement for 2nd half of july so that she can do her expense claims. and he saw the amount i signed for vs. and he made it a really huge issue. then he asked my mum who signed. and my mum replied xq signed. wth. im so in for it tonight la =( hello mummy, that sum included YOUR purchase??? she conveniently put the entire blame on me. how nice.
but yeah my friends are right. im spending what i earned myself so why the complaints since its MY money and not yours?
i was telling melissa i bought those stuff during the clearance sale. and the bras there cost slightly more than triumph? so i dont mind paying a little premium for the vs brand. haha
went to the hall office just now to get the fridge declaration form. they said they will mail it to us and we have to return it. and im like can i email instead? coz i live at block 12 which is all the way up. its quite a long distance to and fro. (its a 45 min walk up and down the other side of the hill. not the NBS side)
btw i did my own laundry this morning and it was a success! =) i called my mum and i was like uh how much powder to put? where do i put it? uh how to start the machine? how long does it take to complete? after it was done i looked into the machine and i was like hmm it looks kinda weird..all kinda wrinkled and compact. i guess thats erm normal? right? haha

btw i did my own laundry this morning and it was a success! =) i called my mum and i was like uh how much powder to put? where do i put it? uh how to start the machine? how long does it take to complete? after it was done i looked into the machine and i was like hmm it looks kinda weird..all kinda wrinkled and compact. i guess thats erm normal? right? haha
so anyways i walked into NBS this morning in my nbs tee and fbt shorts. and ppl gave me the omg-why is your shorts so short-look. well honey its not my fault that they always run out of S sizes and refuse to increase the number of S sizes (im pretty sure it happens all the time).

hmm i think i needa buy kiwis next week coz i just cant sleep at night =( slept at 11pm. woke up at 2 am. slept at 3 am. woke up at 4 am. slept at 5 am. woke up at 730am (coz i forgot to turn off my alarm) -_- if the kiwis dont churn miracles...im gonna reach for the pills and hope that i dont end up hallucinating.
oh yes i swept my floor just now. i took the broom and dustban and i was like ok so how do people sweep floors? and i was like uh shit. and i emptied my dustbin haha. but i still have no clue on how mops work. so i shall go home and consult my maid on that. im calling my maid tomorrow morning on how to operate washing machines heh. i should buy an idiot's guide on household chores soon. im gonna attempt to clean the toilet and the other parts of my room tomorrow after i learn how to operate that washing machine. i remember my sis brought home soapy clothes coz she didnt know how to use the machine too hahaha

day 1 of school.
shall not talk about the walk from hall to LT2A haha
anyways OB lect was well OB. her voice wasnt clear coz she clipped the mike too far away. video was blur. and her accent was strong. but good thing maketing was kinda funny haha. makes me miss my plant lecturer. too bad hes in nus and retired =( went for lunch at hall 2 with tutorial mates. 6 degrees of separation huh mar? haha.
oh then on the way to get dinner, i ran into this girl who looked very familiar and then she came up to me and went are you from nj? and i was like yea haha
i called home just now and my maid picked up. she screamed when she heard my voice haha. i miss home. been here for less than 2 days and im already homesick =(

im blogging coz i really have nothing to do right now bleh. my sis friend was supposed to return me the texts but she didnt. grr.
neways orientation wasnt that bad. haha. left after lunch to collect my room keys. took me almost 45min to find the hall office? coz its not on the freaking map. grr. by the time i was done, i decided to come back and shower. geez i dont know why they enjoy hiding the hall office.
oh and i think i have to climb almost 200 steps from LKC to my room. shall count tmr ;) i probably climbed a thousand today. but i guess its worth it since my block's feng shui very good. and i get the lake view =)
i decided that i shall bring in a fridge and cook dinner, lunch out. since by the time i get back to my room im way too tired to move my butt to the canteen. haha
ok im just ranting nonsense. i told you im really bored. stuck in the hall alone. with 4 hours to kill and i still cant sleep. sigh. the sleeping pills on my shelf are mocking me =(

ok a quick one since vs site is down. just when im about to key in my credit card number. sheesh.
ah yes that department screwed up again. duh. they called to "explain" how they arrived at 70.8. and im like if for 2 timesheets its 70.8, isnt it pretty OBVIOUS that when i add another timesheet the 70.8 figure will change??
she said you got to know that we have to calculate blah blah blah and i told her yes i understand so i personally calculated everything for you and sent you an email of all the breakdown which you can use as a reference but you disregarded it. so tell me, understand what when ive been so accommodating?!
then she said wah you poor thing ot so much. and i said well the worst part is calculating my ot hours and explaining it to you. my mum asked me if i really said that. and i told her of course i did, i couldnt tolerate them anymore. im only human right? theres a limit to what i can take. once or twice is fine. but seriously, its just way too much nonsense. i told my mum im not asking them to be smart. im just asking them to not be stupid. now is that too much to ask for?
so neways i went back for lunch with my seniors and ruifen on fri. went up to the office to say hi to everyone =)
and yest my p2 boy refused to sit still. i told im gonna bring superglue to glue his butt to the chair. and guess what? he moved around even more and said you can bring superglue next week! *grins* i was like omg..then towards the end i said you dont want to sit right? ok then stand. and i pulled away his chair. geez im gonna bring a string next lesson. no wonder shidah said better to have kids earlier otherwise you wont have energy to run around after them. right now they are already way too hyperactive for me. imgaine 11 years down the road.
im moving in this evening. and i think ok yeah i shall just grit my teeth and go for orientation tmr. but i really really hate ice breaker games. i dont just dont like them. i HATE them. sigh. and no its not about being shy (tsk) i just dont like new environments. they stress me out somehow. maybe you're right, i resist change too much.
