US time: 29 nov, 8:30pm
S’pore time: 30 nov, 1:30pm
The flight to US was tough, esp the one to Tokyo. It was full of turbulences, I nearly threw up. And my sickening bro keep making the vomiting sounds. Both landings were jerky. When we landed at Tokyo, I was asking my parents can we fly to US tmr? I had enough of flying for a day already! I didn’t manage to sleep much coz it was so uncomfortable. I watched the perfect man and Charlie and the chocolate factory onboard! Adam in the perfect man was so sweet lor! They served us dinner at 3+pm Singapore time. I didn’t eat and wanted to keep it. Then the air stewardess keep trying to keep our meals. We said no for so many times. Then I think they got fed up and left us alone. I timed it exactly that I would finish my dinner 4hrs before landing time. So that everything will end up in my small intestine already before we land. Nothing left in my stomach so I wouldn’t throw up. And then 1hr before landing, they served us breakfast! I was like whats with them? Why do they keep feeding us? I didn’t eat it.
The clearance into US took so long! And the officer was so stupid he mistook me for my sis! Scanned her passport with my finger prints and photos! Wah lao! Then we ended up got to wait so long for them to clear it. I dun even look the least bit like my sis lor! Even a blind man could tell!
Then on the way to the lounge and coming out of the plane, the men were like squeezing us! Excuse me? I was carrying so many things almost about to topple already and you still try to squeeze??! Dun give way still ok, but squeezing? Whats wrong with u men huh? What happened to chivalry? And your basic manners and courtesy? So when I walked passed a group of men I purposely said it out loud, hopping they would hear and do some soul searching. And then before I stepped onto the escalator, still complaining, the 2 ang moh men gave way to me. I was like you had better! I nearly vowed to reamin single for the rest of my life!
We landed on a gloomy rainy seattle. We visited the university of Washington, public market and blah blah. Campus was okay la, wasn’t anything great except, they had squirrels!! And I used my hamster language and the squirrels came to me. So close, just beside my shoes. They were so cute lor! Then the seagulls were so fat I thought they were ducks!
Me: ducks! Ducks!
My mum: it’s a seagull la
Me: seagull where got so fat one?
My mum: winter mah
And I saw this pair of golden heels that were so nice! Good enough for ballroom dancing. Less than S$30 leh! But the heels ultra high one, cant even walk ah! So I didn’t buy…
Im not going to upload the photos. Coz it was so cold I wore four layers and still shivering. So I looked so fat. Nah, im not gg to upload sub-standard photos.
Im heading to Vancouver tmr! Freezing cold! Is it still snowing?

My sis kept entangling the blanket. I had to wake up so many times to untangle it!
US things are so ex lor! Everything is at least 3 times of S’pore. Even a hamburger costs more than $10! Coz the tax so high. Original price also high.

Canada is beautiful!! So so beautiful!! You know the scenery on Christmas post cards are always so splendid? And you always think that they are photo edited? Actually in reality, its even more beautiful than that!!
Seattle was snowing lightly in the morning. It was more of ice rather. Then again is ice=snow? We saw snow all over Canada! And we played in the snow!! Took lots and lots of lovely photos! We went shopping at fred meyer. It was so much bigger than s’pore’s ntuc that I didn’t even manage to see the whole supermarket!
Everyone is sleeping now except for me. My bro is sleeping with the lollipop still inside his mouth! I took a pic of it! Haha. Will upload that. Then all of you can have a good laugh. How abt if u all promise you’ll just look at the scenery and not see how fat I am then I’ll upload the photos?
Oh ya I bought a beanie (winter hat) today! My mum only allowed me to buy and not the rest coz they already have a hood. Somehow im the only one without a hood on my down. Anyway my sis and bro insisted that they wanted. And my dad allowed. The beanie is really really warm! It keeps my whole head warm! Just that the side keeps pressing on my specs. That was uncomfortable. When we were at the mountains my mum borrowed my bro’s. and she said it was warm. Then I said I told you so! And my dad wanted one too! Haha.
Wonder how are the dogs and fishes and kiki surviving at home. Sigh. I miss them. The room’s getting so hot I think im starting to perspire. My dad set the heater to max!
We are currently still at Vancouver. It was so cold that I wore 5 layers on top and 2 at the bottom. I wore long john, sweater, down vest, wind breaker cum sweater and another down outside. And I was still cold. But only slightly.
We are staying at Canada for another day. Have to reach Los Angeles by the 10th day. Coz my mum is taking a flight to st louis for business trip. While she’s away we will be going to Disney land! Im not that excited considering the fact that I get motion sickness easily whether it is on land, air or water.
My bro is becoming more helpful. He was pushing me from behind and pulling me when I was too tired to complete the walk on the mountain. But then he still allows the door to slam right into your face!
Oh and I forgot to mention that the US is so efficient! You know the shoe shops over here? Uh huh? They display shoes in racks according to sizes! And so you just have to walk down the rows and pick out your shoes! That is so cool compared to Singapore where you still have to find your size. And then sometimes they tell you sorry we dun have your size. Then you’ll be so disappointed.
And the pace here is so much slower and less stressful. You can do so many things and yet time doesn’t pass that quickly! I wonder if there’s something wrong with singapore’s clock! Its like 30min here is equal to 10 min in Singapore!

Whistler was so so awesome! Its like a dream come true! And there was so much snow! For once I saw snow that was so soft it was like candy floss! And we played a lot in the snow. The scenery was so beautiful. My parents were like saying it’s the highlight of our trip. And it’s a bonus coz we never planned to go up there.
But it was freezing cold. At least –15 degrees up there! That’s my record! I was only wearing 5 layers. Couldn’t have worn anything more. And in the car I was wearing 2 layers while everybody stripped to one. They were still hot but I was still cold. Then my bro keep turning back to ask me if im hot or cold. He said he was hot and wants to turn off the heater. I said I was cold and gave him the too-bad-look.
At the restaurant up in the mountains I saw this really cute guy leh! If I were in my gown with my make up on I bet he’ll ask for my number! But I was wrapped up like an Eskimo…
My mum was like saying you a little bit cold already make so much noise then still want to study in Michigan? Anyway I would only consider Michigan with a O level cert. But after I take my A levels, I wont settle for anything less than top 10 universities in the US.
We are now back at US so bye bye Canada! Oh did I mentioned it was snowing just now at the border? Im going back to Canada someday. Muacks! Love you Canada!

We just came out from taco bell. I ate a cinnamon and apple pie. My bro wanted to try some first before he ordered one but I refused to let him bite from mine. Then my dad was telling my bro she so choosy, if she say nice then should be ok. That’s quite true!
We bypassed Seattle already and are heading to Portland now! Along the way it was like white Christmas. All the trees were white, covered in snow. It was so beautiful! But Whistler was much more prettier I thought.
Today is my mum’s US birthday! According to Singapore time it is over already. But since we are in the US, we shall celebrate according to US time.
My dad says LA is snowing also. Oh no! I wanted to go for a swim leh! My dad was saying this is so unexpected, unlike the past. Oh well, its unlike the past coz im here. Haha.
The hurricane is on the east coast. We are in the west so it should be rather safe. We went to walmart just now. It was so so big! I only combed the clothes and handbags section. The rest were more interested in the food section.

The hotel has free wireless internet access! I was cheering in the car you know! We just came back from shopping at the factory outlet. It was suppose to be quite cheap but it wasn’t! I bought one pair of pants and one shorts. Oh and one pair of gloves coz my old one wasn’t warm enough. And we are still heading to Grand Cannon.
We are now at Salem, Oregon. Passed Portland already. Just now in the car my sis tried to open the bottle of grape juice and then it exploded! Heng I was sitting behind. And my dad was complaining he just bathed and now there is grape juice on his butt! Wahaha!
Its been raining and raining non-stop! I hardly saw the sun! okie gotta go, the rest are queuing up to use the internet!
