mon:
the row that my dad, my sis and i were sitting on was malfunctioning. the tv didnt work! i wanted to watch the movies!! *cries* but SIA being SIA compensated us with some gifts. my mum told us last time her tv didnt work SIA gave her US$100!! but of course that was business class plus it was a long flight. ours was less than 2hrs.
after checking in the hotel we headed for MBK. i wanted to start shopping immediately but my mum and sis were starving until wanna faint. so no choice. sit down for lunch. then my dad met his friend there! gosh such a small world! but neways bangkok is infested with singaporeans.
after shopping for 2 hrs my bro complained that he was tired. and my dad said tired? we havent even started!
we ate nam seng there but it was such a disappointment! the sharks fin grade dropped and the pomfret was so skinny and small la! so its either nam seng at chinatown or nothing!
at night we went to the night market near our hotel and bought somemore stuff. my mum was saying shopping is my life line coz when i shop i can dun eat dun sleep dun rest!
oh by the time i slept it was like singapore time 1 am!!
tues:
my mum accidentally dropped the camera so we didnt manage to take much pics. so sad! plus the cam was so ex!
we went to siam square. window shopped at paragon then went to world trade center. but it was under renovation!! so we crossed the road and went into another building. i cant remember the name of that building. i ate tom yum kung there so shiok! and we all had foot massage again! my sis didnt want at first but my dad persuaded her. then later on she loved it! hah.
after we were done shopping we wanted to go out to the night market but it was raining. so we went back into the building and ate somemore. we saw this rotti mum stall. the stall was called the best from singapore. there wasnt much customers there so we decided to support singapore and bought 4 of them. the first few bites were nice but later on it didnt taste that great.
after the rained stopped we started our shopping again. and we went to pray to the four face buddha. by the time we reached back to the hotel it was like 12 midnight singapore time.
and then...i had an encounter with ghost(s)!! my sis and bro were in my parents room. i was alone in our room. i was on the bed. lights off. ready to sleep. then..i heard someone walking in the room using slippers. i opened my eyes to peep. but it was too dark to see anything. then i shut my eyes coz i didnt want to see anything anyway! i was so freaked out! it was so scary la! i was never so awake in my entire life! i wanted to call my parents but i was afraid if i stuck out my hand the ghost(s) will bite me or something!
after eternity, my sis and bro came back. i told them and asked my sis to check if the slippers were still in place. she demanded that i move them far away from the bed. my bro came out from the toilet after my sis and i were on the bed already and he asked did anybody walk around using slippers? when i answered no, he immediately ran and duck himself under the comforter. then i saw some light below the tv, i asked him if that was from the cd player. he said dun ask me to see! i dun want to see! i dun want to see ghosts!
so much for being a free thinker and not believing in ghosts huh? he would haf been the first one to sign up for the ghost trail lor! ghosts dun exist? u sure? think again!
wed:
my mum's infection came back so she couldnt walk and so she couldnt go shopping with us. such a pity!
we shopped around the hotel. and i went for a haircut! layered with fringe! but erm the cam spoilt so ya no photos. i bought a silver metallic colour hairband. it has this ribbon on the side. my sis say i look like a present! my dad says i look like sweet 15!
shopping outside in the afternoon was so hot! its like 6 degrees higher than singapore! 34 degrees celcius! imagine! my sis say kena roasted already!
in the afternoon we went back coz we bought lychees! 2 kilo! my dad complained that it was so heavy! coz he was the one carrying it. but the lychees were so fresh and so sweet!
we were at my parents room. only my bro was in our room. then he came over and said the tv started switching off and on by itself! he was pretty shaken! haha!
at night we ate at thai thai. so shiok again! haha! i played buddhist music in the room throughout the whole night coz i didnt want to see anything or hear anything. and i made sure i knocked on the door loudly and slowly before i entered the room.
thurs:
in the morning the taxi we called was late. he was stuck in the traffic jam or something. so my dad hailed another cab for my mum. she went to shanghai for business. after 1 hr the taxi driver came and apologised. he asked my dad if he could still send us to the airport in the afternoon.
after breakfast i made my sis cut her hair too! i choose the style for her! plus i made her wear a hairband and so now she looks like a true lady! hah! thanks to my mini makeover! *grins*
we bought a lot of hair accessories. clips, hairbands, everything. my dad says i buy it like nobody's business. we saw fake lizards that looked so real i almost screamed!
the taxi wasnt late this time in fact it was early! the 4 of us slept in the taxi on the way there. then the taxi driver said his driving was smooth. haha.
on the plane home i manage to finish watching failure to launch. my sis didnt. short of a few min only. and the descend was quite bad. if it was last time i might haf thrown up or something. but after the flight to the US, all the turbulences i experienced this time amounts to nothing.
the traffic there is real bad. all the zebra crossings and traffic lights are useless. coz green u cannot cross, red u still cannot cross!
that was good family bonding. its getting tougher and tougher to arrange family holidays. my dad says we can go back in dec. i was sadly waving goodbye to bangkok yesterday when we were on the plane. my sis was laughing at me!
tonight im suppose to go for the junior golf night thing. haiz. i dun want to go. coz it will be a "matchmaking" session by my dad. how am i suppose to tell him? i cant come up with a decent excuse...
the opposite of love is not hate, it is indifference
