got back 4.5 papers out of a total 6. maths and chem were disasters as predicted. although the whole cohort did badly for chem, most did ok for maths. chem was like 35.6% passes. sheesh. but i didnt expect to do so well for econs! =) i think mr gilbert lee is really capable of churning out miracles ;) i always pass econs only after moderation and this time i actually got a B! =)) phy was a disappointment. goh hock leong was very strict with the marking. which explains the low marks. gp compre was another disappointment. essay and bio paper next week *fingers crossed*
oh and i have tons of hw and mountains of research. there goes the weekend.
neways that time i bought a carpet from ikea when it was on offer. then i came home and found a stain on it. so i went back a few days later to exchange it but it was still within the 7 day period. and this stupid idiotic brainless guy said he would give me a store credit of $69 and i will have to top up another $20. i was like why??! he said now promotion over. i was like i bought it during the promotion period ok! he said he can only give me a credit for watever i paid. i was like i dont want a refund i want an exchange! do u know exchange and refund are 2 diff things?!? (i cant believe i actually said that but i did) then he went on and on repeating the same thing -_-" like hello i havent charged u for petrol costs, time costs and energy costs and now u want me to pay another 20 bucks coz u screwed up?!? i so wanted to ask him if he has an underdeveloped cephalisation. ought to be fired. in the end the other worker beside him talked to him and then got me another carpet. and when i looked at the idiot's face when he handed me the new carpet i felt so satisfied and proud of myself that i won the battle XD
its like that time in crescent. this other stupid guy came to promote his polytechnic. at 1st it was alright u know but i hate it when ppl try to act smart and convince me they are right. so in the end he tried to sell his poly to a 16 yr old girl yours truly who left him admitting that jc is a better option. my eng teacher was like what the hell was he doing in ur sch?!
i jus watched the prestige. and ive never ever seen a storyline as amazing as that one. try to catch it if u can.
