fri started off with calling IRAS and rushing out assignees' info on GO and PeTS. May said i could take my own sweet time when she gave it to me 2 days ago. then fri morning she suddenly said its urgent. and i had to create TDOs for my 3 seniors. all of the work came in at the same time. was overwhelmed.
lunch was fish and chips at some restaurant. quite nice. we girls couldnt finish so the greedy guys helped us to finish haha. like jx said, lunch is becoming shorter and days are getting longer.
went back to finish creating the TDOs. didnt take a long time. finished quite fast so denise's senior gave me work. i was complaining to denise. i just finished all the GO and PeTS stuff and celebrated then i was given more. shldnt have asked for work. shld have just OA-ed. grr. i hate updating info GO and PeTS! so boring.
oh but one of the assignees right..i was keying in his children's info. then one of the kids was born on 4 Aug 2005 the other on 5th Aug 2002. so they get to eat bdae cakes on 2 consecutive days! so cool! haha.
slogged till 615 adding new assignees to GO. gave up trying to create TDOs for them although it is urgent. i told my senior i couldnt get through coz the other part of the world was logging onto GO. oh and they shut off the aircon at 530 sharp. crap la. i was stranded with jx. shuan went back to get his car. mark went with him. paul left to get his car too. jx and i went down early to wait for shaun. got a call from mark after 30 min to say they will be reaching in 15 min O_O jx and i decided to go up to the toilet. went back to office and was looking at the traffic jam from bird's eye view. pretty nice view. got another call from mark. said they will be reaching in 1 min. so jx and i hurried down.
oh and shaun got lost along the way -_-" reached there at like 7+ le. queued for a very long time for food. wasnt really hungry coz rashidah and li wen kept feeding me stuff. and i was snacking on muffins while on GO. GO makes me hungry la.
and there wasnt space. we sat on the stage. i barely ate then went for the drinks. mark helped me to get chardonnay =) after i finished it we got chased off the stage. when i stood up my head was spinning. i was like oh no only 1 glass. i think coz i didnt really eat. so my stomach was quite empty. and empty stomach means 0 alcohol tolerance. paul finally came and mark got me a glass of water which helped me to recover haha.
games started. May won 1 of the games! then there was another game where 2 partners had to make each other laugh. one of the ang moh went to pull down the other guy's zipper o_O after games was lucky draw. shaun won a PSP! wow! then our seniors and the rest from the department started to snatch his psp. they were really high and drunk haha. they kept making us drink shots. and cristalle was like how come u guys arent drunk? free flow! go!
jx and i went to the toilet. we came back and the guys started to pull us to the dance floor. paul told me that he drank shots. i was like oh no he is sending us back leh. mark drank quite a few but he wasnt driving so its ok. shaun was pretty high. i could tell coz he put his arm around me.
since the free flow was closing we got more drinks. paul ordered gin tonic for jx and i coz we didnt know what to order. 1st time clubbing mah. the guys are experienced clubbers haha. so we drank and went back dancing. a short while later jx and i decided we needed more alcohol to dance haha. by the time it was the 3rd last song things were really wild and lynn was trying to make us drink somemore shots. i tried to stop paul and shaun coz they were gonna drive. when i saw paul dance i was like omg we are so gonna crash tonight haha. but later on as the alcohol settled in i ended up taking another shot. couldnt really feel the burning effect le. paul wanted me to demo a pirouette so i tried but uh ended up crashing into ppl on the other side coz it was too crowded. luckily he caught me before i fell haha. i like the lights. and the blasting music added to the atmosphere.
party ended so we went to zouk to check it out. but it wasnt as wild as pwc party and it was getting late and i couldnt walk straight already so we headed home. paul was trying to get directions from me but i could barely think so we went one big round. sorry! my brain was slow haha. when i got home i tried to walk straight like mark suggested. went straight to my room. and while i was showering i almost slipped. didnt fall but i knocked my head. ouch.
actually i didnt drink much leh. shldnt have such a big effect. but maybe coz i stopped drinking for quite some time and my stomach was quite empty. but uh it was the 1st time i got so high. cool haha.
