lets see..i remember getting disconnected with my mum in jb and the horrifying 1.5 hour jb taxi ride on the 22nd. the taxi driver just couldnt find the place. he kept going round in circles! -_-"
on the 24th i had lunch at st regis. italian buffet lunch! they had really nice lamb chop. i dont like lamb coz of the smell but this one barely had any trace of it. plus they had pretty pretty desserts! and it costs only 42 bucks after tax and service charge which is kinda cheap for a hotel. oh and i love their lifts!
christmas was spent at aunty nancy's house. my mum's friend. we played scrabble. aunty nancy is damn good! gee shes like some word whiz! at night my mum went to meet her friends then she came home and told me that her friend's son is hall 1 president. i was like oh that guy that came knocking for votes? i told her how i made him justify why i should vote for him and my mum called her friend to tell him how i gave his son a hard time -_-"
finally visited my aunt over the weekend. she cooked this really yummy fish soup noodles. reminds me that im gonna have to cook my meals the whole of next sem. 5 days in hall. omg.
mon and tues was spent shopping with my mum. she had 1 night free stay in hilton. we met my aunt for dinner on mon night. my beef noodles soup. my dad brought me there once and i fell in love with it ever since. i dont know if it is the same store after so many years but it was good enough =) bought sushi back for supper. and hilton's steam room is awesome! its well ventilated unlike sicc. and it was so steamy i didnt have to lie on my front. if you get what i mean ;)
stayed over at zhenling's place last night. when i met her she asked me about my results and i was like isnt it the 12th? then she told me her friends in ntu already got their results. i thought it was 29th but when i logged in they said 12th so apparently i logged in in the wrong place. good thing andrew helped me out. haha. my dad scolded me for being overly confident about stats. i knew i screwed up my finals. my mind just wasnt there. given my coursework i could have easily gotten at least an A. sigh. but oh wells i didnt expect to do so well for marketing. the thing about marketing is there isnt any guidelines. so it was hard to predict what the examiners were looking for. guess i got lucky heh.
played wii with zhenling. dancing rabbits! hee
driving is going well. did perpendicular parking today. finally mastered directional change and s shaped course. but my turning on the road is still falling short. bah.
i just wanna stay in 2008. i dont want to go into 2009. coz its gonna be a tough year ahead.
