okay let me recall first...
tues was my mum's birthday. i spent 3 hours in the kitchen preparing dinner and baking her birthday cake. so i only started packing my stuff at 1115pm and my flight was at 735am. usually i start packing like 2 weeks before my trip. but this time maybe coz it was really rush. after exams i still had some stuff to settle and i wasnt really in the holiday mood. for whatever reason. when the taxi drove out of PV i was like shit im starting to miss home already.
i think the aircraft is new. the seats are like wider. and since the plane was only 2/3 full, my baby hippo got its own seat too! haha. i couldnt sleep so i spent the 5 hours watching movies. and they were supposed to serve brunch. and shouldnt brunch be at like 11 or something? they served brunch at 8:30am!
okay so we got there. checked in. and my mum went to work while my dad and i went to da mu zi. ate lunch then went to shop at carefour. the toilet was gross. i went in and refused to pee. yeah it was that bad.
my mum and sis came to pick us and we went to eat xiao yang shen jian and bbq stuff for dinner. i almost stepped on a dead rat! my dad was like dont step dont step! then when i looked down i saw this rat..squished. i was like eew and i screamed and jumped over it and grabbed my dad's hand. yuck.

i sure hope china cleaned up its milk mess coz i drank loads of milk tea there.
hippo was freezing at night too.
on thurs we went to the tailor then went to eat xiao long bao at chen huan miao. my hands were shaking from the cold, i couldnt even pick up the xiao long baos with the chopsticks. my dad had to feed me hahaha. then we went shopping and i bought a bag heh.
dinner was on a cruise. traffic to the jetty was so bad i had motion sickness. then this boat was moving and i was supposed to eat on a moving boat. the combination was horrible. i was all giddy. couldnt wait for the boat to stop.
then on fri we went to fu dan university. my sis' school. we ate la mian and shopped around the area. it was freezing. the second i stepped out of the car i became this block of ice. i had to hide behind my dad coz the wind was so strong. my sis bought egg tarts for me. its called ke neng shi shang hai di yi dan ta. really delicious. but the egg was so soft i made a mess hee.
went to shop for shoes with my sis before having dinner with my mum's colleague at the si chuan restuarant. then we went to lotus to shop for more food stuff. and i bought long john coz i really couldnt take the cold. my sis pushed me around in the cart like she used too. just that i think her driving skills got worse hahaha
sat was spent at the factory outlet. bought reebok running shoes! i saw this really cool silver and baby blue pair that was really comfy. it was like moulded for my feet or something. but it was too shallow for running and it was way too expensive for walking. that kind of price is only justified for a running pair. i bought a total of 4 shoes in that 1.5 days hee.
after shopping was sightseeing.
had dinner at zhang sheng ji with my mum's other colleague and his family. awesome view of the shanghai tan. oh yes and we bought some dvds before dinner haha. but i couldnt find any nice HK drama serials. bahh. my sis tried to pick out some dance serials but they didnt really interest me. and somehow china's tv channels didnt have any nice shows too. i remembered when i went there at the end of sec 2 we were all glued to the tv coz every channel had something good. but every night and morning in the hotel i flip the 50 channels 5 times and still couldnt find something nice to watch. hmph.
on sun we moved out early. went sightseeing. uhhh okay i cant recall the first place we visited. crap. anyways we bought honey and ginko nuts! and saw the beautiful tai hu. but it was damn cold. my sis wanted to sit the speed boat and i was like noooo im already freezing!

i slept half of the flight back to sg. again hippo got its own seat with 3 pillows! haha.
reached sg at about 535am. got home at around 6+? i went to bed at 645am and woke up at 1045am. that has got to be my new record. my last was probably 9am or so?
woke up to eat brunch. my maid told me that someone from the 17th floor in our block jumped. i live on the 19th floor.
